My name is Everhardt Strauss and I am passionate about helping people just like you share their story online – expand the reach of their ideas – get eyes on your project.

So, How Exactly Did I Get Here?

That’s a question that I am rarely asked IRL. Considering that I actually started out as a bouncer then drifted into telecommunications, systems, then acted in the customer quality space, and finished my corporate career in systems development in SAP risk and credit management. 

In saying that, I have also been escorted away from the White House by the secret service because I removed a raincoat when it started raining on a humid day, and you know, paranoid dudes with guns…. So. 

Not what I am doing now though – that was a one time thing. 

At some point in every person’s life, they come to realise that the universe owes them nothing, and they need to become both the engine and the driver of their destiny. Our lives are a constant ‘Schrodinger’s Cat’ experiment – a probabilistic prediction.  So, back in 2006, my then girlfriend (now wife) woke me up from a slumber in a rented room above a restaurant in Dunedin New Zealand, and convinced me to head down to a travel agent. – we purchased 2 one-way tickets to australia and have never looked back – Cat 1 = Alive..

I have had no formal education in marketing, design, photography, 3d modeling or SEO yet I have worked with some of the best in their respective games.

Although they all took long hours of hard work, I have found that they all came very naturally to me – especially SEO (there’s something about convincing an algorithm that I know what I’m talking about) – and like SEO each of these things can in some way be proceduralized – boxes need to be ticked – the problem is finding the boxes that matter and ticking them.

I am exceptionally good at it – ranking things online that is..

I been playing with URL structures and ranking sites since the very beginning of the internet marketing boom, I rode the wave of print design that then became website design, and then PPC, and then social media and then content marketing – and now finally we have settled on SEO as the gold standard. The King (or Queen) of the Hill.

When you start paying attention to the way in which the Google algorithm ranks things on the internet, you see certain flags, or commonalities across the top performers – and that’s what I love. Teaching people how to tick all those boxes, how to take top positions in SERP 1 (Search Engine Results Page number 1).

Although I have loved all the different avenues down which life has thrown me, I have walked away from all of it and decided to to focus on High Level – Aggressive SEO – or really just SEO in the way we do SEO..

So…all these things – why?

There was no PASSION, it sounds so cliche, but that really is what was missing in all those previous disciplines – I always tell clients, that ‘if you love it, you won’t have to work at it, it will call you – if you love it, it will pull you along’.

Until now, I hadn’t loved what I was doing or who I was doing it for. In fact, I didn’t even like it. I didn’t like the idea of building someone else’s dream on my time doing something I don’t love.

SEO hasn’t been all smooth sailing, when you first start to work for yourself, you will take on all kinds of clients, and sometimes that means taking on clients that don’t trust SEO and this is really very important.

We won’t be able to help everyone – or more specifically, it may not be financially viable to spend this much on low volume keywords – or low value conversions.

Or you are unwilling to change – those 3 things are deal breakers.
We want this to work for you, because that works for us.
So I have had to fire the odd client – if you can’t keep up – or are unwilling to grow rapidly, or change so as to catch the wind – then I/We may not be the SEO/s for you.

So…all these things – why?
